1. Tower Point – Romantic & Serene

Tucked away past Colwood, this location is a true hidden gem. It’s less crowded than other spots, offering more space for creativity. With a small beach nearby, stunning rocky coastline, and a gorgeous blue-water lagoon, it's a fantastic choice for photoshoots.

2. Creyke Beach – Scenic & Easygoing

Located in East Sooke, Creyke Beach is perfect for families and pets. It’s easy to reach—just a 5-minute walk from the Aylard Farm parking lot in East Sooke Regional Park. One thing to note: it’s small and can get crowded on warm weekends, so I recommend early morning sessions.

3. Iron Mine Bay Beach – Dramatic & Wild

Another hidden gem in East Sooke, Iron Mine Bay Beach is a heart-stopper. Dramatic cliffs and a rugged coastline create breathtaking photography settings. The only downside? Parking is limited since there’s no official parking lot—but trust me, it's worth it.

4. Whiffin Spit – Family-Friendly & Accessible

5. Bluffs Beach – Hidden Treasure

You won’t find this one on the maps! Bluffs Beach is part of Sooke Bluffs Park, with limited access via neighbourhood streets. It’s wild, empty, and absolutely magical.

6. French Beach – Classic & Versatile

With a stunning 1,600-meter shoreline, French Beach is a fantastic all-around location. It offers breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. A large parking lot, campground, and playground make it an easy and convenient choice.

7. Sandcut Beach – Waterfalls & Driftwood Charm

8. Mystic Beach – Fairytale Setting
